Low cost Psychotherapy Muswell Hill

Low cost Psychotherapy Muswell Hill

Muswell Health is now offering low cost counselling.

We are excited to be working with an integrative counselling final year student from University of East London, to offer counselling sessions at a lower rate. Navdeep is currently available between 9.30am to 2.30pm on Fridays.

What’s the cost?

£25 for a 50 minute session. (There is a 24+ hours notice cancellation policy, so any sessions which are cancelled with under 24 hours notice will be charged).

Who’s the counsellor?

Navdeep is a final year student, studying a postgraduate in Integrative Psychotherapy and Counselling at the University of East London. She will be working with us for a year. She works in an integrative way mainly focussing on Person Centred Therapy which involves building an empathetic relationship and a safe space to work through problems and issues clients are experiencing.

What is Person-centred therapy?
Person or client-centred therapy is based on the view that everyone has the capacity and desire for personal growth and change, given the right conditions. Rather than being seen as the expert and directing the therapy, the counsellor offers unconditional positive regard, empathy and congruence to help you come to terms with any negative feelings and to change and develop in your own way.

How do I get started?

Call or email us and we’ll put you in touch with our senior counsellor Sal Fulcher. She will have a phone assessment with you, to check your issues are suitable for low cost counselling. If it’s a match, then you will have your first assessment session with Navdeep at Muswell Health and you can agree whether you want to have open ended therapy or a number of sessions.

Do I need to be a student or on a low income?

We do not have any criteria to apply for low cost counselling. At the moment this opportunity is open to anyone, although we particularly want to help those who may not be able to afford regular therapy prices.
