Relational Integrative Counselling with Sarah-Jane Rawlings
How I work
Hello. My name is Sarah-Jane and I am a relational integrative therapist. The relational part refers to the relationship between the client and therapist which is central to my way of working – which is why it is important for us to have an initial meeting – to see if we fit before we start working together. The integrative part means that depending on you and what you bring, I draw on different ways of understanding human experience to support our conversations.
Life can be really challenging. Therapy provides the opportunity, in a confidential space, to talk through some of those challenges, to disentangle some of your thinking, to find space for some of your feelings. It can help you to reconnect with yourself as well as helping you to live differently and with purpose. For more information about counselling or therapy (the two words are often used interchangeably) and how to make the most of it, take a look at the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy’s guide, Thinking about therapy?
I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Therapy and work in accordance with the BACP Ethical Framework.
How it works
If you would like to book a session please contact Muswell Health, 0208 8834981 and I will call you back. We can have a short chat about what has led you to seek therapy now and your expectations and then decide if you would like to book a first session. After this, if we decide to continue together, we will agree a regular time to meet each week and for how many weeks. This can be short term (normally 8 – 12 weeks) or we can decide to keep it open ended with regular reviews. All sessions last 50 minutes and cost £65.
